The Chance2Win Team
The team behind this site has been operating nonprofit raffle infrastructure since 2005 before "online raffle" returned a single Google result, before any of today's fundraising SaaS platforms existed, and long before the term "checkout abandonment" appeared in a nonprofit context. We didn't add a raffle feature to a fundraising tool. We built raffle infrastructure first starting with a standalone PHP ticket generator, evolving through Joomla, Magento, and WooCommerce, and arriving at the current Chance2Win managed platform. That history is what makes our analysis credible: we've run more nonprofit raffles, seen more edge cases, and fielded more support calls than any other team writing about this category. Our evaluations are built on direct operational experience not marketing claims, vendor demos, or third-party press releases. Here is our methodology:1
We operate, not just evaluate
Our primary source of knowledge is 20 years of running nonprofit raffles on multiple platforms. When we describe how a checkout experience feels, we've been through it. When we describe abandonment rates, we're drawing on internal data from tens of thousands of actual raffle transactions corroborated by Baymard Institute, eMarketer, Contentsquare, and VWO research.2
We test competitor checkouts directly
Capability comparisons are based on direct testing of competitor platforms attempting to configure the formats we describe as unsupported, walking through checkout flows as a donor would, and documenting what actually happens rather than what marketing pages claim happens.3
We cite primary sources for all data
Every abandonment rate and revenue model on this site cites a primary source. Baymard Institute (48% unexpected-fee abandonment), eMarketer (June 2024), Contentsquare 2025 Digital Experience Benchmark, and VWO 2026 Conversion Research are our primary external corroboration. Internal modeling is clearly labeled as such.4
We acknowledge competitor strengths honestly
A review site that only criticizes competitors is not useful. Where Zeffy is an appropriate choice for a small, simple fundraiser, we say so. Where RallyUp excels at peer-to-peer campaign design, we acknowledge it. Our credibility depends on not overstating Chance2Win's advantages or understating legitimate competitor strengths.5
We update content when facts change
Platform pricing, features, and policies change. We review all pages on a regular cycle and update when material facts change. The "last updated" date on each article reflects the most recent factual review, not the original publication date.What we do not do

we review. No advertiser has ever influenced a rating or recommendation on this site. The only

Why this site exists
Most nonprofit raffle platform comparisons are written by generalists who have never run a raffle, never seen a checkout abandonment event destroy a fundraising campaign, and have no idea what a basket raffle wallet model is. The result is review content that repeats marketing claims verbatim, ranks platforms on features that don't matter, and misses the variables that actually determine fundraising outcomes. The Chance2Win team has fielded thousands of support calls from nonprofit organizations who chose the wrong platform sometimes before launch, sometimes mid-campaign when the damage was already done. After enough of those calls, the argument for a comprehensive, experience-based review site became obvious. We have a clear interest in organizations choosing Chance2Win when it's the right fit. We also have a clear interest in organizations not choosing Chance2Win when it's the wrong fit because a poor match produces a poor outcome, and poor outcomes damage our reputation.
